What is RSS? What are feeds?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML format designed for sharing web content like news headlines. An RSS service (also known as an RSS channel) consists of a list of items, each of which contains a headline, description, and a link to a web page. For Reuters News RSS Feeds - the full content, such as a full-text article or video, is made available on Reuters.com and  uk.reuters.com and can be accessed by the link in the RSS service.

A feed delivers regularly updated summaries of web content, including headlines that link to full versions of that content. When you subscribe to a feed using a feed reader, you'll be able to quickly see summaries of new information in one place. RSS (“Really Simple Syndication”) is a widely-supported format for feeds.
